Jiggery Pokery Parlour

The Vintage Car Boot Sale, Queen Elizabeth Park

Our fist ever car boot sale was a challenge, we are not a small fly by night operation!! We had to set up and pull down at double speed and found ourselves the first on and last off. It was a brilliant event and we fitted in a treat. Our crew were superheroes (as ever), roll on the next one!

The trip Out

The trip out was like going back in time to the days of free festivals, what a breath of fresh air! We had no idea what to expect and were pleasantly surprised by a bunch of really nice hairy bikers who didn’t need a mass of wristbands, rules and fences to keep them in order, these guys know how to …

Wilderness

Yet again we went to Wilderness with our great friends The House of Fairytales. This year we moved out of the kids field and into the craft field. With a yoga yurt on one side and a merry band of whittlers opposite it was a refreshing change of scenery. Of course we blasted them with rock and roll all weekend …

Hotrod Hayride

We always have fun at the hayride, surrounded by the cheapest (and the best) vintage stalls to be found on the rockers scene, the crew took the opportunity to stock up on all those bits and pieces a 1950s ice cream girl needs!

Camp Bestival

Back on the top of the hill in the magic meadow, Camp Bestival was sunny and full of happy kids, our favourite kind of customers, this festival has begun to feel like coming home.

Memphis Belles

This was the first time we ve taken on a one day event, exhausted from Glastonbury we were happy to become the chillout area to a great bunch of rockers….

Glastonbury 2014

This year the Jiggery Pokery Parlour got its act together with an all night cocktail bar in Heaven, Shangri La. With a choice of 10 cocktails prepared by our expert mixologists we were mobbed from morning until night, our expresso martinis went down particularly well with a very tired crew in need of a pick me up! Shangi La looked …

Atomic Festival

This was the first year for Atomic festival so no one knew what to expect. The venue, Sywell, a 1950s aerodrome set the scene for what is destined to become the best vintage festival in the calendar. The sun shone all weekend, the vintage vehicles, caravans, music and dancing were fantastic and overwhelmed by the turn out we ran out …

The Hotrod Hayride

The Hotrod Hayride was a journey into the unknown for the ice cream parlour. For the first time we were immersed in the Rocking world. We were placed right in the middle of the arena of retro stalls and surrounded by the coolest looking crowd we had encountered so far. Billie sorted out our look with hair and make-up and …

Glastonbury Festival 2013

The Parlour crew and the Camp cooks were a match made in Heaven (or somewhere near the gateway) in Shangri la this year. We stayed open 24 hours a day selling cocktails at night and the usual ice cream, waffles and coffee in the day time…..no rest for the wicked!
